What Is Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT)?
For better or worse, people tend to develop behaviors that help them cope with what they’ve been through. When someone has experienced something adverse in their past, they often turn to unhealthy habits—such as drinking, drug use, or avoidance—that may provide temporary relief but ultimately hold them back from living fully.
It can be challenging for those who have spent years caught up in unhelpful behavioral patterns to break the cycle and find true healing. And while traditional therapy can be helpful for some people who experience anxiety, depression, or trauma symptoms, it may not be as effective for others—leaving many searching for a different approach.
Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) offers a unique, accelerated path toward recovery, restoration, and lasting change. It can be especially beneficial for people who feel stuck, frustrated, or overwhelmed by persistent struggles in their lives.
Rather than simply trying to manage symptoms, RTT works to address the root cause of a person’s distress. Developed by renowned therapist Marissa Peer, RTT is a therapeutic hybrid that combines elements of hypnotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP). By combining these treatment methods, RTT gives people the chance to access and renew the part of the subconscious that creates their behavioral and emotional challenges.
How Rapid Transformational Therapy Works
By guiding clients into a relaxed alpha brainwave, RTT helps the subconscious mind become more receptive to insight and suggestion. While in this natural state, clients can learn the origin of their troubles by revisiting memories and experiences that have created limiting beliefs throughout their lives.
Once the root causes of their limitations have been identified, the RTT practitioner will work with the client to help them reframe and rewire the beliefs that hold them back. When the session concludes, the client will receive a customized audio recording full of affirmations and positive beliefs and tailored to the specific symptoms they are targeting.
From there, the RTT coach will ask the client to listen to their personalized recording—every day—for at least 21 days. The context of the audio will echo affirmations that the client will need to internalize in order to achieve their targeted goals.
Hearing the recording consistently reinforces new, empowering beliefs that change the narrative of the intrusive thoughts that limit the client. In turn, the process guides clients to outright eliminate the beliefs, behaviors, and self-doubts that hinder them so that they find relief and clarity moving forward.
Rapid Transformational Therapy Helps People Overcome A Wide Range Of Challenges
Many people are hesitant when it comes to trying something new. When they think of hypnosis, they often fear that they’ll be stuck in a trance and won’t be able to make their own decisions.
However, by working alongside an RTT practitioner, clients can feel safe and comfortable while engaging in hypnotherapy. The process brings them to an alpha state where they can address the needs of their subconscious while maintaining full awareness of their surroundings.
Rapid Transformational Therapy provides a fast, focused, and results-oriented option for those who seek a different approach than standard forms of talk therapy. Working with an RTT practitioner can help clients overcome a wide range of symptoms and behaviors, including:
Anxiety, depression, and stress
Low self-esteem and chronic self-doubt
Addictions or unhealthy habits
Anger, overwhelm, or persistent sadness
Fears, phobias, and trauma responses
Unlike traditional talk therapy, an RTT session helps clients overcome intrusive feelings and behaviors by targeting the origins of their troubles and reprogramming their beliefs to fit a more positive, productive narrative.
Clients typically walk away with an improved sense of clarity, confidence, and freedom after just 1-3 sessions. With Rapid Transformational Therapy, true transformation is possible.
What To Expect In A Rapid Transformational Therapy Session
Every session begins with an intake process to determine if this approach best fits the needs of the individual. Once the goals are clear, a two-hour RTT session is scheduled—this timeframe allows the practitioner to carefully lead the hypnosis process and provides the client with ample space to explore the depth of their issues.
The process goes as follows:
Pre-Session Consultation—the RTT coach will review the intake, clarify goals, and address any questions or concerns about the process.
Hypnotherapy Session—the client is guided into a calm, relaxed state where they can get in touch with their subconscious—while remaining fully aware of their surroundings and in control of themselves.
Identifying The Root Cause—the client will observe and describe scenes from their past experiences that hold emotional weight, identifying the origin of the feelings that hinder them today.
Reframe & Rewire—the client and RTT coach will use transformational techniques to target and replace false beliefs with healthier, more supportive ways of thinking.
Custom Recording—following the two-hour RTT session, the client will receive a personalized recording with positive affirmations to help them improve their outlook on whatever may be holding them back in life.
Integration Period—Over the next 21 days, the client is asked to listen to the recording daily to reinforce the mental transformation.
Follow-Up—After approximately two weeks, the RTT coach will check in to assess the progress the client has made and decide whether additional sessions are needed.
RTT is effective because it doesn’t just soothe the symptoms—it completely transforms the subconscious beliefs that created them. Those who have experienced RTT have grown to become more compassionate, able to let go of the emotional pain that weighs them down and reconnect with their dreams, goals, and relationships. As a result, they feel more empowered, allowing them to move forward with clarity and confidence.
