Helping Couples Heal, Connect, And Thrive Is My Specialty

I’ve always found myself quite fascinated by human behavior—why we act in certain ways, what drives our choices, and how we can change even our most deeply ingrained patterns. And since the early 1990s, this fascination has driven me through a fulfilling and lifelong calling as a therapist. Throughout my career, I’ve had countless opportunities to help individuals and couples seeking guidance achieve meaningful and lasting change.

As I gained experience, I began noticing a pattern in the people I helped—they didn’t just want to cope with their problems, but to understand them. Over time, I developed procedural therapeutic methods that offered exactly what my clients needed, regardless of the challenges they faced.

I’m Paul Austin, and as the founder of Transformational Lasting Change, my services are aimed to help couples reconnect, reduce conflict, and deepen their emotional bond.

My Therapeutic Process

Choosing Paul Austin as your therapist means you’re gaining support from someone who is deeply committed to helping you move beyond surface-level fixes. My services—aimed at helping couples and individuals aged 25 and older—involve a structured, insight-based process that combines warmth with strategy.

Whether you’re coming for individual therapy or couples counseling, I’ll begin by getting to know you and establishing an atmosphere of trust and acceptance. You will be given assessments to pinpoint strengths, challenges, and hidden dynamics that may be holding you back.

From there, I will provide you with strategies, perspective, and support to help you gain trust and strengthen communication. I always work on both the conscious and subconscious levels so that, no matter what you’re going through, we can take tangible steps toward a healthier life as well as a more fulfilling companionship with your partner.

By using strategies like the Developmental Model and Gottman Method, as well as modalities like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Relational Life Therapy (RLT), and Rapid

Transformational Therapy (RTT), my services help couples break long-standing patterns and gain clarity in their relationships. Whether you and your partner are preparing for marriage, navigating a crisis, or rebuilding your foundation, I offer a variety of packages designed to meet your needs—from intensives to six-month programs.

At Transformational Lasting Change, I want you to feel supported, heard, and empowered. My approach is empathetic and instructional and I hope to inspire you to find happiness and connection with yourself and the ones you love.

A Little More About Me

Outside of helping people through therapy, I’m a life-long learner and lover of the outdoors. I like to tend to my garden and find peace and connection through spiritual practices, meditation, and being one with nature.

I also love going on adventures with my two dogs and always find myself listening to music. I’m an Eagle Scout, a former marching band member, and someone who believes that growth often comes from finding the courage to overcome discomfort.

Ultimately, my mission is to support you in finding your way back to connection. If you’re ready to move forward, I’ll be here with insight, care, and empathetic support to help you nurture and strengthen your relationship with yourself as well as your relationships with others.
